You dont need to use signals, on the parameters tab
'Place At' fixed odds 40

and add the following condition
'Fixed odds condition'
selections 'last traded price' or 'back price'
is 'greater' thsn 35

thanks for the reply but i want it to lay a selection that started the race with odds of under 10. if i take the signal away how will it know what horse to lay?

I'm new at this but with my lay betting bot under "conditions" I used fixed odds of less than (say) 10.

It will lay which ever selection you apply it to that exceeds 35

You could fire a lay bet in at 1.01 between three seconds to six seconds into the race on any horse that is current trading at less than ten.
That way any horse that has an unmatched bet during the race that equals 1 means it started at odds of ten or less.
You can then use that condition (unmatched bets on selection =1) as part of your criteria.
If that horse goes on to win, you will lose 2pence, or you could cancel the bet if the last traded price is less than say 1.4 to keep it clean
Regards
Peter
Ps you can use this technique to track lots of things, i.e. Which horse has traded at 20 plus, or less than 1.8, etc etc..
