Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to link an automation to in-play stats. For example, If Liverpool had 10 dangerous attacks and more than 3 shots on target in the last 10 mins place a back bet for Liverpool to score next.

Thanks :)

There is currently no way to do this. We have enquired about a licence for this sort of information but it's prohibitively expensive to get these feeds legitimately.

You could do it via Excel if you could find a source for your stats. It's not ideal but you could watch a live stats site and update your own worksheet for the match stats by hand, and it could handle all the transactions to BA.

I love the way BA is so open. Nothing is impossible because you can use its transaction processing engine at the heart of a much larger bespoke system.

You need to get someone on the YTS, a crate of Red Bulls, a bank of TVs and a computer.
Data provision is a nice little earner. ;)

The source for your stats could be an issue, Livescore is saying in the Blackburn v Man Utd game that Utd had 7 shots on target, 16 off target (total 23). Sky Sports saying Utd had 13 shots in total, 3 on target, 4 off target, 6 blocked. A difference of 10 shots is quite substantial! Flashscore have the same numbers as Sky Sports, whoscored.com is similar too. Whoever is doing the shots clicker on livescore might have had a few too many pints last night!
