Hi,

Is it possible to automatically back a certain percentage of an increment? Say Someone has put a lay order in at 3s for 100 and that's the only available money at that price.... Can I automatically back say 90% of that? Obviously I would want to cap it on occasions where there is thousands of £££ in an increment.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Do you think this is even possible?

On slo-mo IP cricket it might be, but on IP horses, even pre-off, I have trouble getting the touch price let alone a certain proportion of the money sat there.

Hi guys,

I'm trying to back certain runners before the off and my stake sizes are subject to the current odds. So the stake will be X for odds of 3s or less and Y for between 3s and 5s etc etc. So ten minutes out I set up a rule for £100 on odds less than 3s and a separate rule for odds higher than 3s but less than 5s (£80). The problem I have is all bets have triggered. For "conditions type" I selected "fixed odds condition" Back price must be greater than 3s and then a separate condition of Back price must be less than 5s. So I thought that would do the trick? Any ideas where I have gone wrong??

Thanks in Advance

That should work as long as you have a <3.0 fixed odds condition on your other back bet
If during the time your rules armed for if it moves from say 3.3 to 2.8 then it could trigger both unless you have 'number of matched bets condition' or similar in place

It's still not working...

I have this in place.....

Rule 1
matched bet on selection > 0
back price on any selection <3

Rule 2
matched bet on selection > 0
back price on any selection <5
back price on any selection >3

I need the "Matched bet on selection" rule as I want to trigger bets on BA when I'm not at my desk from my mobile phone.

It should be
Number of matched bets on selection
is 'equal' to 0

I need it to be "number of matched bets is greater than 0" Would that make a difference?

I thought you only wanted to back a selection once with a stake depending on the odds 10 mins b4 the off?

Basically its a dobbing strategy. Because I'm not always home and at my desk and I don't find out my selections until I'm at work I place a £2 bet on the selection I want on my phone at work then that signals to BA which runner I'm focused on.... so it needs to be "greater than zero" on the matched bets. I was being a bit hypothetical in my first post. Thanks for your time and help.

In that case instead use 'equal' to 1

But then the trouble is both bets are still activating. Even though ive set one up to trigger below 3s and the other between 3s and 5s..... So if its priced at 2.50 I've placed my £2 bet on my phone and then the £100 and £80 bets are both triggering.

AGHHH I've worked it out.....

Where it says "Condition type" under the conditions tab and you select "fixed odds condition" It has the options....

Current (Any selection)
Nominated

I had "nominated" ticked instead of "Current (Any selection)" And that has solved it.

Thank you very much for your time, you are always very helpful.
