I'm not expert SHR, but have you tried doing a system restore to yesterday?
Obviously I have no idea if that will work but worth a try.
Hopefully some more experienced people may have a solution.

Very strange still have everything else saved. When I went to log on this morning my username was missing and had to tick all the boxes to log in. It usually saves this and all I need to do is input my password.
is not normally saved in the roaming data file? have er look in there.

Are you running on a VPS or a local PC? If a VPS, might you have switched from running the server edition of Professional to the regular version (which would save it's profiles in a different area)?SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2017 1:49 pmVery strange still have everything else saved. To75ne: No idea where that file is...
Bet Angel: Just running from a normal PC.. I have all my enhanced charts still saved and my settings but the screen set ups have just vanished from the face of the earth. I shut pc down as normal last night, no updates. Just the norm.
One note to make: I use BullGuard anti virus and now and again it pops up saying Betangel.exe file is harmful to my pc. Not sure if that could be the cause? twice BullGuard has randomly closed betangel.

We haven't tried using BullGuard, but it shouldn't be affecting the lookup of these files.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2017 7:05 pmOne note to make: I use BullGuard anti virus and now and again it pops up saying Betangel.exe file is harmful to my pc. The files containing all the profiles are located in C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Bet Angel\Bet Angel Professional
The easiest way to find that location on your PC via Bet Angel is to open Guardian, go to the 'Advanced Settings' tab at the top, and click 'Explore reports folder'. That'll show you the contents of C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Bet Angel\Bet Angel Professional\MarketReports and from there you can naviagte up one level to all the files you need.
If you've called a profile 'Trading' then you should see a lot of files ending '_Trading.lay' which would be all the layouts for that named profile. You'd also see a lot of files starting with 'Trading_' and ending 'cfg', and they would be the various settings files.
If you don't see what you expect, then upload some screenshots of the files and we'll see if we can spot anything unusual.
Also check that your Windows username hasn't changed on the PC for any reason.... as that would cause you to switch to a different area under the C:\Users\ folder.

Thanks for your help will check it out this morning and get back to you.
ShaunWhite: I am currently on version 1.46.1 and windows 10. My pc is really top spec. Invested £1,000s into a really top piece of equipment. Running off 4 screens. Honestly cannot remember how I managed to get my set ups so good. Just one of those days and to top it off saints got robbed in the cup. Glad to see today Tbh.

You have my sympathy shr, but I'm sure after a week or so you'll be loving your new layouts and they'll work for you better than they ever did.
If this has made people think about backups, I can't recommend EaseUS Todo Backup Free enough, and their Partition Master is the dogs nads too. I've been using them since at least 09, free & flawless. It's nice any easy to just pull the odd file or folder back, or to restore an entire partition.
A scheduled daily incremental backup runs in about a minute. Top it off with a set of 4 or 5 full weekly backups and you're sorted. Make sure you do it to a different physical drive to be properly protected for when your C drive crashes or your SSD packs up (they can, so it will, sods law).
A further monthly backup saved off-site (a neighbour or garage or shed) is probably slight overkill, but having had a house fire a few years ago it's something I'll always do. A 2tb drive and a caddy will cost you less than £70, it's cheap insurance.
Aside from BA, it's utter madness to have things like your family photos & music sat on a single piece of spinning glass or on a speck of Taiwanese silicon. I know people will suggest 'the cloud' as a backup, but there's nothing as secure as having the data in your hand and there never will be.
If you do start backing up, make sure you try a full restore too. There's not much worse than thinking you've got a backup only to find it's not been working correctly.
