Money management is essential

Over the past few months I have been banging on about the importance of a money management system that the gambler can use. Gambling is a marriage of selection (to either bet or lay) and money management. The money management system I use saved my bacon. Over the past two weeks I got carried away with my ability to select both dogs and horses to lay. My lay selections moved to being a higher risk than before. You can guess my success/failure ratio decreased and I starting have more than usual negative results. However, luckily, I kept using my money management resulting in no significant loss. If fact over the period, I am slightly in front but not the amount I would have been if I had not got carried away. I am posting this confession not for my satisfaction but try to convince others the value of money management
