Found this while on my regular reading binge this morning and thought it was interesting: -

The most infamous ticket scalper of all time used bots to buy millions of tickets. Now he wants to stop them.

An amendment to the Digital Economy Bill means it will be illegal to use "bots" to bypass limits on the maximum number of tickets that can be bought.

what is to stop them physically moving their machines that run the bots and their companies offshore out of uk jurisdiction and then carry on as before?
