Surely the only people really making money "sniping" are track side.

Firstly the skill to read a race and translate it quickly is very difficult. I think it would take incredible discipline to profit long term with delayed pictures.

The thing with sniping is its an easy way to bury your head in the sand there's no need to accept a loss. If it's beat you lose...there's no self control.
For me that would be lethal. I need to know that with each trade if it wins I will win more then the loss I am prepared to take.

Two 1.01 loser in one day would be painful.

Wow you've changed your tune since this one....

After 8 years on Betfair using Betangel, I am having to admit, I just keep losing money. Honestly, I have tried everything in the book. I keep losing. So, here's a quiz. If there is ANYBODY constantly winning on Betfair/Betangel, can you please tell me how you do it because I am beginning to think it is absolutely impossible. Having said that, if Peter explained how he makes like 25grand a week then things might change.But I do question him!! He doesn't tell you step-by-step exactly how he does it. If anybody knows, then I'd be glad to know!

Tell us the secret!! How did you go from being a loser for 8 years to a being a prodigy in just 6 months?

I've already made a note about how I needed a 200k bank to trade pre-race...ok, good. What else can you tell me that will help me to become a trading genius like you?

I wish I was as delusional as Peter, it must be great imagining all those zeros on your bank statement. Funny thing is, he DOES tell you exactly how to do it step by step.

I've grown quite fond of these strange little posts that pop up from oliver123 every couple of months or so. The only concern I have is that new people to these boards just might take him seriously. My advice to any newbies, do what ShaunWhite has done, and look at some of oliver123s past posts.

If you're making £4,000 a day why would you feel the need to tell anyone how? Personally, I'd just carry on raking it all in if I were you.

I've always seen pre off and inrunning as two completely separate beasts. Rarely do people have the mindset or skillset to do both as the techniques needed are at odds with each other. I manually trade pre off and bot in running but switching those methods wouldn't work in the slightest.

I don't quite understand why you don't have £200,000 available if you can make £4,000 per day. Starting from nothing you could have that in under 2 months, and then have that £200,000 "betting bank" you say you need for pre-play trading.

I expect you're taking significant risks to achieve any wins you're having at the moment, and therefore not a good long term prospect. Maybe you're hitting some seriously big losing runs which wipe you out and that's why you sound a little bit bitter? In the most friendly way, I'd recommend you take some time to seriously reflect on your situation, especially if you're consistently losing in the long term. I just wouldn't expect any successful trader or professional gambler to be posting the type of messages you are and it's quite worrying. It's time to be honest with yourself and talk to someone if you need help? Just self-reflect for a bit. Of course if I am getting the wrong end of the stick and you do know what you're doing, then feel free to ignore me.
