Capturing Last Traded Amount (and whether was Back or Lay side)

This is obviously viewable on the Ladder Screen (as a white shaded box against the market price on one side or other of the ladder) but not (I believe) made available for export to Excel.

Was just wondering if anyone knows how this figure is arrived at based on the information the Betfair API is able to provide, and whether any of the data that can be exported from Bet Angel could be used to derive this information (e.g. changes in traded volume against last traded price and comparisons to current Lay price and current Back Price).

As an example, would:

Last Traded Amount = [Current Traded Volume] -[ Previous Traded Volume] = Last Traded Amount, and combined with the Last Traded Price, give the Last Traded Amount and the price it was traded at?

Then, =if([Current Market Lay Price] = [Last Traded Price], [Last Traded Amount is a LayBet, else is a BackBet) or formula to that effect was employed, could a tally to work out how much has been matched as Lay money and how much has been matched as Back money at each price point be achieved to provide Real Time information?

Is this achievable in Excel (does the 'Last Traded Amount' updates moves too fast to realistically catch in Excel?) or is this in the realms of having to code up with direct calls to the API?

This type of indicator is key in Financial Markets Orderflow trading on a DoM display (see Jigsaw on YouTube as an example) and would be great to be able to pull it together for sports too as an indicator.
