Is it possible to put in a trailing stop then only have it trail down for a set amount of ticks then become just a standard stop?

E.g.

Back with Trailing Stop:

Offset: 350, Stop: 20, Place At: 22

Is it possible from that point to then say if the odds of the horse comes in by 20 ticks so that the trailing stop is now effectively at the SP of the horse to turn the trailing stop into just a stop so that the stop stops trailing and sits at the SP of the horse?

Short anaswer is no, a trailing stop will continue to trail untill triggered or the offset is reached

Could you use a profit target to overide the stop?

Yes it could still be overidden like this, just not told to stop trailing midway through a trade
