Nice question.
For my current self-employed work, it's really easy:
"Cold call businesses"
When I'm trading:
"Pretend I'm Euler" (or Mugsgame, LeTiss, JollyGreen, Dallas) - delete as appropriate, chaps.
It's interesting, despite having been learning to trade for over 9 months and trying to explain to family and friends what I do, no one gets it.
Someone said to me the other day;
"How's the spread betting going?"

Wager Broker / Bet Dealer / Gamblers' Agent
'Dealer' is probably appropriate since we sometimes buy a large lump of cheap bet and sell it off in small overpriced pieces.
