Scalping Vs Non-Runners

Hello all,

I was trialing a scalping bot and had the following issue:

A horse ("Diamond Guy") was trading around 3.5
I placed a lay bet at 3, with a 1 tick offset (to place a back bet at 3.05 if/when the lay bet got matched).
The market was suspended and opened again, but due to non runners, the remaining horses prices had dropped; with Diamond Guy now at 2.2
My lay bet obviously got matched at 3's but of course the price never touched anything like the 3.05 I needed.

I understand about Rule4 reductions, but I'm not sure how a BetAngel bot should treat such an occurrence...would I need to manually work out what the new 'scalp' back bet should be?
