Problems with delayed positions

Hi BetAngel team,

I am experiencing big problems and especially huge delay lately after greening up and showing the current positions, I mean the current profit for each player ( in case of tennis ). The delay takes around 4-5 minutes until the correct green/red numbers are shown under each players name, while on Betfair website, it's shown immediately after greening up. The strange thing is, the greening number is changing all time correctly when having an open position.

Hope you can fix that problem or tell me what it's about.

I just assumed it was my connection, so I'm pleased to hear other users are experiencing the same issue

ditto here, pressed green up a few times. goes green/red then move on to the next race only to find the green up has been 'reversed' at the end of the day in my P/L.
I've also noticed that sometimes placing a bet is delayed(by 10-15sec) and BA is leaking a lot of memory(using windows 7).

Betfair have indicated there have been intermittment problems recently with international customers but I don't know if they are still a problem?

We just tested on racing and football and can't see anything?

You may want to try API / non API modes as that will isolate the problem to the API. You should also check you are on the latest version as there was a known issue with handles in a prior version of Bet Angel but that was resolved pretty quickly.

got the latest version and problems appears on Tennis for me, quite regularly, after 4-5 minutes the right numbers appear using API Mode.

Any suggestions beside testing non API ? As I want to stick to API Mode but will try anyway later on, just some new ideas maybe already what's on ???

Just had what I think is the same problem on tonights Zaragoza game. Clicked green and betangel shows no change.

However, the greening bet had actually been placed (I could see that from the betfair site) it was just the p&l figures in betangel that were not updating.

Having browsed around the forums I'm pretty sure this is an API issue. It's probably worth having a non API version of the product running in the background to confirm this. We haven't seen it, but we could have just been lucky. It needs somebody to spot it and have both API and non API version running to confirm and isolate the issue.

It's even worse this morning!!

I have just placed a bet on the dutching tab & it never registered, so I done it again - it still never registered.

However, when I opened Betfair 'my account' it shows the bet was matched twice

At the time of writing this it's over a minute since I placed them and BA still isn't showing the bet

Just had another example

Guimaraes v Nacional

I'm trying to lay Evens & on Guardian it showed a bet had been matched

On the one click screen though, the unmatched bets remaining had been altered, but the P&L and Trade Profit columns didn't change for over 1 minute

We just went into the same match did the same and everything acted as normal?

It's a bit odd, but ultimately we need to find some way of replicating it so we can identify what the issue is.

I'm having similar problems again today.

It's taking about 1 minute for P&L and trade profit columns to change

It's only started to happen over the past week or two, so it's not a case of having problems with a new download

The P&L data comes from Betfair and is not generated by the software so that hints that the data isn't come down correctly but we need to be able to replicate it to find the answer. If you can try and isolate what is causing it to happen we can have a dig around. We can't see anything specific from our side at the moment that could be causing the problem?

I'm not sure what I can do to isolate or identify it

It does it all the time and on every single market I trade on.

It's been so bad today that I actually made an incorrect close due to information taking so long to come down
