It's not churlish, it's sound business sense.Berts Certs wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 3:20 pmlol really, how churlish.
Try posting pictures of Pringles on the Walkers Crisps forum and I think you'll find they're equally churlish. Social media is for the providers 1st, and the users 2nd, that's why it's all free.

No it isn't, it's churlish, as if one video of someone using a different product is going to make any difference. We all knew about the competition before buying a sub for Betangel, I doubt one video on this forum would convince users to give up their subs and go elsewhere when there are already thousands of other videos on youtube advertising other products already, you're welcome.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 3:22 amIt's not churlish, it's sound business sense.

But you're not talking about one video, you're talking about a precedent. If I was a competitor of your business I'd create a thousand fake profiles and quietly flood your forum with my product, how many would you allow me, 1 advert per account?Berts Certs wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 8:18 pmI doubt one video on this forum would convince users to give up their subs
The subliminal effect of having a product put under your nose everyday is an industry in itself, Advertising. New people who aren't getting on too well sometimes think the problem is in the product, so why on earth would you want to promote a competitor at that early stage and maybe lose them for their whole careeer?
I'm not connected with BA in any way whatsoever apart from being a user, so my views on this are pure speculation and not intended to represent their motives or principals.
I'm sure one video wouldn't make any difference, but Shaun makes a very good point, once you let one through what do you think is likely to happen. All of a sudden chances are lots of posts will start to appear with links to people trading using the competitions software.Berts Certs wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 8:18 pmNo it isn't, it's churlish, as if one video of someone using a different product is going to make any difference. .
I think most of the sports trading software is of a high standard. The thing that swung it in favour of BA for me was this forum. You wont find a better and more active forum than this one.
BTW Shaun when do you sleep mate, one of your posts in this thread was made at 2:48 in the morning? Unless your a vampire, you need to be tucked up in bed fast asleep at that time

as my father used to say, plenty of time to close your eyes when you're gone, for now, keep them wide open!!
yawn -tiring stuff

I've never liked mornings, not a lot happens. There's a lot going on in the US and South America while you lazy lot are asleep

I tend to work 1pm till 5pm, and midnight till 5am...peaceful, quiet, no interruptions, perfect... and 7 hrs off in the middle for me/family time. Suits me anyway.
My missus works from home as well (phone based relationship/life couselling) so it's good to have some time 'alone' too...she's gets mornings, I get the night.

Following on from Shaun's comments, have any of you heard of polyphasic sleep?
