I have been trying something for a while now and it seems to be working quite well - although it is early days.

To be honest I don't think my profits would be affected if a few other people tried my approach as well.

Agreed. I was part of a group of people that used to run a lot of autobuyers for Fifa back in the glory days. Sharing tips and bouncing off each others ideas is a great way to come up with a solid strat.
But as soon as word gets out, profits take a dive

The thing is, lets say you are on to something and you share it with two or three people from here. They then share it with two or three of their family members or friends. It wont take long before the edge has gone. If you really think you have found something that works, hammer it to death and make as much money as you can from it. Chances are that someone else is going to find it sooner or later so make hay while the sun shines.

Once the edge has gone and you cant see any possible way to tweak things to make it work again, then share it with people. Someone might then be give you some ideas that could enable you to come up with something new that could be profitable.

i trade in running i am very happy to share what id do. i watch one horse to lay it, if it starts running well i b2l it obviously at the best price i can , if it comes off the bridle i l2b it ,a very simple plan no complications there we go

the thing is when someone writes an ebook with strategies, that person knows only a few people will actually put the long term work in to practice it over and over again, so they make money off the book anyway
