Im trying to edit my search market list following this guide on my Bet Angel Server edition

I'm not sure but it looks like you're saving the file as searchList.txt and not searchList.cfg.

The only options i have in "save in file type" drop-down menu is text and allfiles and it wont allow me to manually change to .cfg type.
Could this be because i am using Bet Angel Server Edition on Bet Angels VPS and link was showing normal Bet Angel ?

I don't use BASE so I can't really comment on whether that's the problem.
I did, however, have a similar problem using the local version a few months ago; I tried to edit the search config file but I kept getting a "You are not authorised... etc." message when i tried to save it. I wasn't able to solve it so I left it. It seemed to me to be a Windows 10 issue rather than a BA issue though, but you don't seem to be using Windows 10.
There are far more knowledgeable people around here than I, but if you don't get any suggestions then raise an issue with BA Support. They're very good.

Thanks ,i contacted support and all is working now. Below is what was emailed to me.
"It looks like you've done everything correctly, but just need to remove the read-only flag from the searchList.cfg file:
So when Saving in Notepad, first select the 'All files (*.*)' option as the 'save as type' and you should see all the Bet Angel files appear in the window above. Find the 'searchList.cfg' file in that list and right-click on it with the mouse and select the 'Properties' option. In the Properties window you'll see Read-Only is ticked..... untick it and OK the window. You should then be able to save the file as 'searchList.cfg' without being warned about the read-only status.
After saving, restart Bet Angel and your changes should be visible in the search pick list."
