Hi,

This is my first post. How do you do?

I've been watching a few videos on YouTube and I've not been able to replicate a few things on my ladder screen.

Have a look at this screenshot. I don't have the yellow, red and green indicators to show where the price is. Also it's only showing the actual money on 3 places above and below the current price. It also says the total matched is £0 which must be wrong as price is moving and this is Royal Ascot at 2:30 in the afternoon, 5 mins before the start.

Does anyone know what's wrong? I've reinstalled, and rebooted my router and PC with no success

ensure that you have your betfair account funded, otherwise the default position is that you only receive delayed odds with no market depth or volume.

That screenshot dictates he/she is running it live with £932 in his/her account. Either market depth is not turned on or his/her account has been restricted. If it's the latter then good luck sending a support ticket, more chance of picking all the winners in a 10 horse accumulator.

I've logged a ticket with Betfair. Do you think Bet Angel would extend my trial until I can use it? Or is that pie in the sky thinking?

Yeah a while ago. I was building an app and they restricted it because I was using their API and not betting. I asked them at the time if they would reconsider if I started placing bets, and they said maybe later. I suppose now is later.

I only just installed Bet Angel. I thought I just needed to muck around with the settings.

Don't hold your breath about getting your account un-restricted unless you handover £299.

£299 is probably a drop in the ocean for a successful trader though. Which is why they know they can get away with it.

A restricted acount can't make money.
