Hello

Is there a tool within BA that will allow me to take a part loss? I know I can manually hedge but I would like to set BA up to hedge out at a 60% loss without it effecting the up side. For example when laying the favourite at 2.0 I have a liability of £100 and potential profit of £100. In play the horse is wining and hits -£60 I would automatically like to take the £60 loss rather than let it play out and likely lose the full £100.

Any help appreciated

Best

Dallas - I have built a bot but it's not triggering and have no idea why. I've attached a photo of the set up can you see any potential reason as to why it will not trigger?

Thanks

Cant really tell much from that image, except you want to lay the 2nd fav 30secs before post time. This thread has some suggestions for troubleshooting bots.

Not sure why it's not firing but I see you have it set to fire 15 times. I hope you have conditions that prevents it firing if it has already. ie Matched bets < 1 and Unmatched bets < 1.

Ok thanks got it working now :)

Another related question. As I am laying at different odds I have different liabilities. Is there a way to run a stop loss bot at a % of liability?

Cheers

A stop loss can only be a % of opening bet odds or a monetary value, its easy enough to calculate a % of the stake being used then use that as your value.

Sorry to keep asking questions, Dallas i've been trying to work out how to do this with no luck.

Essentially I lay at odds between 2.0 and 7.0, which function can i use to automate a % stop loss on the odds? i'm aiming to get out at 80% loss. I currently automate hedge at -£80 which is fine for the lower odds but not the higher odds.

advice is much appreciated

Thanks

Hello

I have now upgraded to the latest version of BA and can now see the offset % action. I can't get this to work for a stop loss i.e when I hit a 75% loss I want to automatically hedge and take the loss. I will be laying at different odds so can't set a fixed of odds figure. Any ideas of what actions I can use?

Thanks

For stop losses your best running a basic automation in the background as these can trigger more than one time so will increase the chances of them being matched, a few examples you could use include
