Hi Dallas

I'm trying automate backing all horses at actal BSP between 3.0-5.0. I've tried to edit the back or lay at Betfair SP file on the forum but can't get it to work.

Are you able to tell me what I can use under the general tab, parameters and conditions i need to use? For example under the general tab do I use take SP all unmatched bets?

Sorry to keep asking questions :)

Thanks

To add to this what would be ideal is to back any horse that has a BSP is a range regardless of current odds..

Example:
The race starts and there are 3 horses with BSP between a range of 3.0 and 5.0. Due to market volatility their odds are all above 5.0 but I still want to back them.

Is this possible?

Have been reading the instruction manual but it's still making no sense which general and triggers to use. Would it be place back bet in play or take BSP on all unmatched bets etc.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

A bet can be placed at the BSP providing its triggered in running once the BSP is known has been returned by BF (one or more fixed odds conditions can also be used is you want the actual BSP to be <> or between a range of odds)
or you can place just outside the current trading price as a unmatched bet around post time and then use a 'take SP' rule, (fixed odds conditions to test the projected BSP can be used to only trigger the bet in certain situations as above) - at this time the projected SP wont be far off the mark

Thank you Dallas, the bot is now working :).

However I did notice that not qualified horses were backed as per the rule. For e.g.
but only sometimes, if there were 5 qualifiers in a race it would only back 3 or 6 and back 4 and so on.

Do you have any idea why this would be?

I have it set to trigger 10 times every once every 2 seconds until 20 seconds after the event goes in play. I have a feeling this is something to do with it not fully working?

The good news is £230 profit (46 points) from the bot so am really chuffed. It could have been more but missed a couple of big winners that did qualify but for some reason the bot didn't back them.

Cheers
