I'm thinking along these lines:
Pick 3 players among the 1-10 seeds
Pick 2 players among the 11-21 seeds
Pick 2 players among the 22-32 seeds
Pick 2 players among the unseeded
For both men's and women's respectively, so 18 in total. Primary reason behind the extra one among top seeds is that you'd assume that one specific choice on the Men's side will be automatic, thus leaving little else to differentiate.
Scoring:
Men's:
3-0 win - 20 points
3-1 win - 15 points
3-2 win - 10 points
Women's:
2-0 win - 20 points
2-1 win - 10 points
I'll gladly run the scores, if people are game, and though no promises should be able to update once a day after the day's matches. I'm open to suggestions of changes to the format, so long as it's manageable (if I'm running it).
A few weeks away still, but I thought I'd float it early to see if people fancy a bit a harmless fun as a distraction from the hard grind of turning red numbers black - or green as it were for us - or biggers blacks/greens...depending on who you are
