Hello I have red of Betfair API and I was wondering how could they be useful.

I could transport those API to a software that I have programmed... but I can not code

Can you suggest me a good place where I can find coders which could develope a software on demand?

Sounds obvious but have you tried the Betfair Developers Forum?
http://community.betfair.com/developers ... evelopers/

There's people on here too, it depends what your budget is really.

I thought the Italian exchange was too small for the stakes you want to use?
Why spend 1000s on having software made for it?

What information do you want that you can't get through Betangel?

Before you even consider paying a programmer to develop code for you, you need to understand how it could be useful, otherwise you would be wasting a lot of money on something that's completely useless.

What exactly do you mean by transporting the API to software that you have programmed?

I think he just means getting api info via something he's had programmed...language barrier init.

I don't think he understands what the API is
After his lengthy thread saying how the Italian exchange was too illiquid for him, wanting to now pay to have custom software made for him to access it doesn't seem to make any sense

Hello Derek.. basically I wanted to know if betting brokers are legal and how could I connect Betangel to a broker like Asian Connect for example... that's why I have asked of Betfair API

Regarding the software for prediction model... I was thinking at IBM machine learning instead of tennis trader inside Betangel... so I wanted to use all the dataset... but since I am italian and on Betfair.it we haven't such a thing called ''Historical data'' avalilable.. the only way to get betfair historical data is on betfair.com (which I can't access cause I am italian).....
so where could I get those historical data? Github?

The Betfair api is only for communicating directly with betfair. Not a broker. If you wanted to communicate with a broker directly you would need to establish a protocol, write software for yourself and modify the software the broker uses. That would be difficult and expensive for a business and virtually impossible for an individual unless you plan to trade huge amounts, probably multiple millions.

Github is a platform for software developers to allow easy sharing and version control of open source software.

The only way you are going to be able to trade betfair.com is if you have a genuine account. I think I'll you really need to accept that unless you are prepared to relocate to a suitable country then you can't do it.

I am concerned that any advice i give you about brokers or accounts or evading money laundering controls may be assisting you to commit a crime because I am not fully aware of the legal situation.

I have talked with some brokers and they say there's nothing to worry as soon you report your earning to your current fiscal sistem... and that they are up since decades so if there were problems no one would have used them I think. I gotta inform myself better about this situation

What do the brokers charge? Margins are so slim that even 1 or 2% could be significant. Especially if it's on turnover rather than profit.
