Hi

I wonder if someone can help me. I am looking to create a simple horse racing (at least I thought it was ;) ) automation which places a back bet before the off and then closes (without greening) if the odds double. I can work out how to do it with greening (stop of 100%) but not without greening. Do I need to set up a signal?

Many thanks

After researching, I can see I need to use the Stored Value tab. I have added Store a Value when I place my back bet, however, when I try and create a close trade rule, I don't know how to specify that I want to close the trade if the stored odds have doubled

Would someone be able to check my following rule:

1. Fix market selection 45 secs before the off
2. Place back bet on Favourite 30 secs before the off (including storing the back price of the selection when the back bet is placed and I have multiplied it by 2 which should give me the double odds price I am looking to close on)
3. Close trade on position 1 (sorted in order of favouritism) (will this still be the horse that was the favourite before the off even if it may not be when the trade closes?)
4. I have added a condition under the close trade rule for Stored Value condition which equals the the stored value I created in step 1 (which should be the back price multiplied by 2!)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Any reason why you don't just use 'offset bet and stop' and set the stop loss to 100%

Then just use 200% as your offset (which will place it at 1.01) - but you could cancel this as the odds approach it if you really didn't want to have it matched

Hi Dallas, will the stop green up or just close? I am looking to keep all the loss on the same horse. Also, it was my understanding that the stop won't carry over from before the off to in play - will I need to place the back bet at the off?

Many thanks

It won't green up if you use 'offset bet with stop'

The stop will carry over if you use a keep unmatched bets rule and trigger it after the opening bet is placed or is matched (and the offset part has placed)
