Hi
I manually place bets early, say 2 to 5 hrs before jump. Around 50% will firm and 50% drift. I want an automation rule to trade out the drifters with 10sec to start. I might have two horses per race, so I don't want to green up because if one horse firms, it stays a bet. I wrote a rule with Guardian which applies to the nominated selection (great addition by the way) to trade out if the selection's price is greater by 3 clicks than it's backed price. Except I can't get the rule to see it's backed price .
I feel I am getting close.
As with the placing of the initial bet, even though I stated above that I place bets manually, I have an initial bet rule to place the bet on the nominated selection 1. It works. I have it 'always armed' and then just double click the race to bring it up to the main screen and as it does this, it will prompt me to place the bet. This is great for the early betting if there is enough $ in the pools on this selection. Usually there is. I just need to automate the trading out when the horse drifts, but after changing the rule many times, it still won't trigger. Any guidance here appreciated...
The reason for this? My selections that firm are a very good strike rate. The drifters are a very low strike rate. Betting early gives me value on the firming horses. Trading out the drifters is a saving.

Trade out rule
If you use 'Close trade on selection with greening' rule
applied to ANY selection
Then add a Close Trade profit condition
with greening
is less than -£0.01
That would green up any selection that's drifted and is now in a loss
If you're using fixed stakes and know roughly how much your loss per tick then you can just edit the amount so that if it exceeds -£X value it triggers
ie, if you lose around £1.30 per tick set it as;
less than -£4
