On Saturday (posted in another post) I had an automation rule that did not trigger. It was the 4.55pm at Lingfield (Cat Royale), the rule which will green up if 20% profit or 25% loss is recorded (but also will automatically green/red up after 15 secs into race). I watched the race, the horse was running strong and should have triggered a 20% profit, but either way, nothing triggered.

I have bene told this happens occasionally, will setting the fastest refresh rate in guardian reduce the chance of this happening again? It was only set to the standard 1 sec yesterday.
B2L, 25% Stop, 20% Green.baf

Looking at your other post ,there is a 7 second gap between the market being suspended and then unsuspended. So your probably right about the refresh rate.
One tip for you , Switch to the market by adding a switch rule or use the switch to market tick box in guardian. The market in the main BA screen will refresh at real time(your refresh rate) not refreshed in a queue.
You could also use refresh restrict or both.
Personally I refresh everything at 20ms.

Thanks for that, not sure I understand it, as I am fairly new to BetAngel, but will pass it onto my friend who wrote the rule, thanks!!!

I think Dabbla is spot on.

Just to add, inplay is a shark pit. Avoid the closing stages unless you are on course. Most pictures are delayed and you will get skinned by the oncourse sharks, particularly towards the end of the race.
As for refresh rates.
If your inplay on horseracing you need 20ms on your active screen.(one click, ladder etc.)
If your using gardian in the background you should set gardian to 20ms and be sure not to load to many markets for gardian to update.
You should try to understand how your edge is working and the automation thats implementing it, if the edge stops working how will you tweek it to bring it back?
Good luck with your adventures
