Quick Q about unmatched bets and shutting laptop down

Lets say hypothetically I place a lay bet and it gets taken an hour before the race begins, I then place my back bet x ticks above and click the keep button. I then decide to shut down my laptop/internet and go out - because I've sent my back order and set it to keep, even though my laptop is shutdown, will it be taken? or does my laptop need to be on for it to be taken?

If you have an unmatched bet on the exchange it will remain there even if you shut your laptop down. If you keep then it will hold it over to the inplay period as well.

I've just checked my BF history and can see the bet is down as lapsed? - so was the back bet part cancelled as it went in play? :/

If you had decided to place a LAY bet set to keep at say odds of 5.0. Its possible the selection opened up at a higher price and the price never came down to your odds as it ran poorly which was why your bet wasn't matched.
