Automating a "lay the outsiders with variable liability according to odds" system?

As the title suggests I'd like to automate what I have been doing with some success for a while now.

The basic premise is to lay the outsiders in a horse race with variable liability according to odds. I am effectively laying using a bookmaking tool so that any horse with odds over 40 to lay are a liability of one amount, 30 to 40 a lower liability, 15 to 30 lower again, 10 to 15 as a 0 bet, just a 0 return if they win.

I have used different amounts for the liabilities but I pretty much have settled on...

40+ -£50
30 to 40 -£20
15 to 40 -£10
10 to 15 0 return

This staggers your risk so that the least likely to win carry the most risk and all of the profit is left on the horses with the most chance of winning (according to the odds).

It might be useful to exclude races with no horse in the betting below 6.

On the face of it this should be relatively easy to automate but after my first day looking at the auto bookmaking options on betangel I can't work out how I would do that?

I'd appreciate any help or advice that anyone can offer.

Its best setup as a servant, the link below explains more about what a servant can do if you've not heard of it
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/servants.html

But basically, you'd give it the 4 rules you require (each with the different liabilities set and odds ranges to trigger in)

Then each race at the time of your choosing it's just a case of one key push or click of your mouse and the servant will be started.
The following post is a step by step guide to creating a servant

If you're still stuck on which parameters and/or conditions you need to use just ask and I'll advise further

Thank you very much for your help.

So a complete "set and forget" automation may not be possible but a "one click and dealt with" solution would be?

I'll look into servants now. Thanks again.

You could do it either way.

If you were always picking the same selections (ie, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 8th fav) and using the same conditions then it could be fully automated as a set and forget
Or
If you want further control ie pick the runners on the fly just before post or based on something that can't be automated (ie, from the way they behave on TV) then you can use a servant - each you just tell it to trigger or not and it will carry out all the betting instructions given to it

That's what I can't see how to do, lay to set liabilities runners with certain odds in a bookmaking style so the far outsiders to be risking a certain amount, middle outsiders risk a bit less, etc?

It would require separate rules,

ie, Rule 1 place a lay bet with a liability of £10 then add 2x fixed odds conditions to create a price range (ie, >2.0 and <3.0)
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=17622

Rule 2, place a lay bet with a liability of £20 then add 2x fixed odds conditions to create a price range (ie, >3.05 and <6.0)
etc etc...

So when the servant is started only one rule will trigger depending on the price of the selection at the time.
Or if you want it to bet on more than one selection when started you can add a 'Number of place bet triggers condition' is equal to 0
That will ensure a selection can only be bet on once
