BF look to have taken down or moved the faq on the link that Google found but I found a cached version:

They don't seem to have reasons for the closure in this case or with the Indian closure. Anyone guess as to why? I am sure Swiss bookies will still be happily operating. Are our days as sports traders limited? The amount of betfair down issues on the rise and the closure is making me add 2+2 and get 5 & wonder about the longevity of my chosen ambition... :? :shock:

People on punter forums in Australia always seem to state the Betfair Au is struggeling to make profit... I am not sure of the truth of that...and I haven't researched it, but makes me a little nervous :)

Warren Buffet guy says you should never rely on one source of income...which is all fine and dandy in a certain context....but not in another :)
