Hi
I have a bot to back 2 selections pre off greyhound racing in hope of a swing. Problem is greening all selections is only working 70% of the time.
It is set 20 sec. before off to trigger 5 times with 4 sec rearm. I have moved these parameters as far as 25 sec, 6 x trigger , 3 sec rearm but still not greening all the time. I have lost £35 because of it which has infuriated me.
I had this problem with horse racing inplay but Dallas pointed out that my rearm was too short at 2 sec, which sorted it out but this is pre off ???
Would it be better to set 2 greening rules one for each selection instead of 1 for any selection ?
I keep moving it further and further from event start time which in turn is depriving me of last minute influx of volume.

The biggest problem with greyhounds is the following:bizmark222 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 9:03 pmHi

- Most money comes in the last 60 seconds before the scheduled start time.
- The scheduled start time is not set in stone, depending on the course and other parameters outside of most punters/traders control unless they are actually at that specific track.
- Races can start or be suspended upto 40 seconds before the scheduled start time. On-course bookies have a big say in this.
Like i said, unless your actually at the track in question then you run the risk of being caught out.

Thank you for your advice
So maybe putting the bets on 2 minutes out and greening up 1 minute out maybe the only way around this then.

Don’t know what your entry rules are and don’t need too but the following should work fine.bizmark222 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 9:42 pmThank you for your advice

- Start monitoring 2 minutes before. Make sure your opening bets are placed before 60 seconds to go.
- Greenup at 40 seconds before start.
That we at the very least your opening bets will have a minimum of 20 seconds to be in the market.
If your at the track and trading or able to watch a race remotely then obviously you can see when all dogs are in their traps and ready to go, early or late etc.

Set greening at 40 seconds but still getting same issue, even at 1 minute out. On one occasion it greened one selection but not the other? Always seems not to happen when I'm watching...typical
If you don't have the market on your main trading screen are you refreshing them in Guardian fast enough especially if you have a whole day of greyhound markets?bizmark222 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 6:59 pmSet greening at 40 seconds but still getting same issue, even at 1 minute out. I green up all my greyhound bots with around 30secs to spare, use trigger 3 times and re-arm 1 second and never had any issues

Dam, still had guardian set at 1 sec refresh. That's now solved it, thanks Dallas
