A feature that I would love at present would be the ability to turn off In-Play, then lock it out with a passowrd, a tool to wipe the brain of said password, and a NON existent 'forgotten password' link. :)

Been trying my hand at this trading now since January and my major flaw is allowing my self to go into IN PLAY even though I know I shouldnt. Being able to turn it off (for the horses at least) would be a help in improving my game.

Hi Yes,

I have this annoying problem at the minute which I am trying to get rid of. I am slowly winning the battle of inplay. Have you had a look at the betangel tv on youtube peter has a demo of a video. He uses excel that cancels all bets and greens up at the off time red or green. Might be worth a go.

Cheers

I make more profit in play than trying to trade at the off, i dont lhave massive open positions, but ones that are fairly sized to be controlled small losses. I suppose this is good for me knowing a bit about the horse race sport, etc, reconising the pivot points (where you should be greened up by) of the 5F, 6F, 7F and mile races and counting 10 seconds behind in my head, i exit front running selections out of the stalls straight away. I suppose some of us have the knack for pre play and in play what suits the outfit, think i would have the goose if i had SIS or Turf TV

Thanks Jimmy, I hadnt even thought of this. Could be worth looking into.

I did try a bit of inplay trading, and did do well one night until the last race where I lost most of what I earned. But not having SKY/Cable didnt help as all I went on was the odds, and money coming in.

I think I could have done better using stop losses, but once that price drifts 20 - 30 ticks in a second, you are pretty much foooked :)
