Loading over 1000 markets a day..
Small stake testing automated strategies on racing and sport markets each day, but from up to 18 hours before off in sport markets. Usually load all Aus/Uk racing win/place plus 2-3 markets for each soccer and tennis match. 1000 markets is the max I can load at once it seems, with excess markets not loading until I remove suspended events. Is there an option to increase this limit or is my strategy so ridiculously unique that BA doesn't even contemplate the need for such a frivolous option?
Betfair has a limit of 1000 markets when Streaming, if you revert to polling then you'll be able to load more markets but of course, the refresh rate will be much slower
Do you trade every market your loading?
ie, could you add some further market filters to exclude any markets that will be of no interest?

Thanks Dallas, yep refresh rate vital but only end up trading 50-100 markets a day. Don't trade sport markets with fave under $1.40, scalp when tick difference at least x and racing markets trade under $4 only, but obviously little idea of likely prices so far out for sports and racing so variable. Have numerous conditions but none can be filtered so early. Not a huge deal, little sports action till late and I just remove suspended race markets 2-3 times a day and load up remaining overnight sport markets with plenty of time I guess. My numerical OCD habits prefer to do a job, tick it off and move on but I'll cope this way if no alternative....

Loading different markets into different BA instances might help. It will definatly improve the refresh rate.
Eg Load BA 4 times and have one for win markets, one for place markets, one for football etc etc?

Ah yes good one Shaun thanks, that would make result recording easier too. Might also discourage me from riding every damn result like it matters and instead just let BA do it's thing on each instance!!!
Another small issue I can't solve involves soccer markets. Every other sport and racing event saves the matched bets until the next morning (Aus time) but any soccer event removes these shortly after suspension, meaning I either have to scroll through each soccer market to record a result or refer to Betfair statement each morning. Is that just a settings option I need to adjust?
