"Customers have been asking for years, soon it will be here: Hong Kong racing is coming to the Betfair Exchange.
September 1, 2019, Betfair will be offering markets on all Sha Tin and Happy Valley meetings". :D :D :D :D
Nearly fell off me chair :shock:
This IS trading right? Tell me its not just the sportsbook..I know that's what it says I am just making sure :)
EDIT: Just watched the Video...YES!!!!!!!! ..some days you find out just how much you love this stuff :lol:

There was a point at which these races were on the Betfair.com website. But they never got much liquidity for some reason. I'd be happy to see more markets listed however. So hopefully a bit of a push will generate some interest.

Betfair is set to start exchange betting on Hong Kong racing from September 1, with the wagering operator hopeful the move will help stop the flow of Australian money to illegal offshore exchanges.
Exactly why people should stop using "illegal offshore exchanges" and start to use Betfair's exchange with its barely legal horrible premium charges and zero efforts to deliver newcomers to constantly declining UK horseracing markets?

Did anybody happen to see what the total matched amounts were on these markets and if they go in-play

It will be interesting to see how the ever growing 'involvement' of the Chinese government in HK changes things over the next few years.
