What’s your opinions on when enough is enough? For example if say scalping on cricket, and you are entering in and out and have created a profit . Let’s assume you have done 5 or 6 winning scalps . Knowing at some stage the odds are going to change, do you stop at a certain point or profit level?

IMO, never be afraid to miss a potential winning trade. If you've had 5 or 6 winning scalps and your indicators show a potential reverse, let it go. If the move continues and you miss out, the worse case is; you have 5 or 6 winning scalps. You also learn a bit more about that market and your set up.whodareswinsall wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 11:32 amWhat’s your opinions on when enough is enough? Same applies to swing trading too. Using a proper stop-loss, will help. you then have to decide, according to your indicators, when to re-enter. (if at all) .
Only stop if you trust/believe your set up and the market has changed in some way.
Should be simple, if the opportunity is still there you continue scalping until that window of opportunity closes, the market doesn't care how many scalps you've completed and it doesn't keep count so you shouldn't either. It's a game of ticks, just grab as many as you can and make sure your staking execution is good, once you start getting a few scalps it should be difficult to mess it up unless you're greedy.whodareswinsall wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 11:32 amWhat’s your opinions on when enough is enough?
