Testing and building automated strategies

Hi all,

I have only been using bet angel less than a week but have to say I am getting more than frustrated with myself for not knowing how to use this software correctly.

Firstly it is nothing to do with the software as I can see the unlimited potential it has. It's mainly me not knowing how to use it as it should be.

So guess my first question is are there any courses preferably video course that show you how to use the automated side of it specifically (I'm more of a visual person and cant seem to get my head around the written stuff as comprehension as it is)

Secondly any automation I have managed to complete (mainly pre programmed ones from this forum)I have put into practice mode and have noticed they make horrific losses. Is there a way this can be back tested on historic data to then distinguish what's the best market to approach such as odds and for football teams, leagues, horse racing, certain courses and times all that sort of stuff.

Just getting frustrated that I have so many ideas but no way of knowing (yet) how to automate it and select the correct markets for them.

Hi in addition there are some excellent videos on Youtube where Peter shows step by step how to build basic automation and also demonstrates what the software can do. Worth checking out.

With regard to the shared files you have to remember that these are just raw basic files, you would need to know which markets/selections to apply them to or may need to 'tweak' them to get them to work in the way you want.
