Is there anyway to extend the 1000 tx per hour, I am sure I read that I could by purchasing a developer license or commercial license, please could someone advise if this is fact and cost.
thanks

You can't extend that limit....unless you become a big enough player to be offered it.
If you really have to break that limit then I'm afraid the only option is to make sure you earn more than 1p per trade* to cover the cost.
*I'm not sure if you know but commission is offset against the charge. If you generate £10 in commission on any given day you can have an extra 1,000 trades, above the 1,000/hr throughout the day. So if your tx count for each hour was 900,1050,750,1900 & 500 you'd pay no extra.

That makes sense. I would guess most automation strategies, especially under development, would have quite a high proportion of unmatched transactions. I still think a penny per transaction with no cap is excessive. Reminds me of the guy who went on holiday to Spain, downloaded his favourite soap on his 3G network and got charged £15,000 by his telephone provider!
