Can't quite get my automation working

Complete newbie, used practice mode for 3 days everything was fine went into my first day and we ran into problems should have turned a profit but ended up a small minus, problem 1 was that I made a back bet a few mins before a football match and for it to have a 2tick offset inplay', but the back bet didn't match 1st up and the lay bet then was not placed as i didn't have the money in my account for the liability, is there a way that the offset doesn't set until the bet is fully matched? I tried to take the matched price from best market price up to 3rd best but then it just lays at the same ticks, another thing was one of my games didn't green up, I had 13 markets running today and there was only one so don't understand why, I went into practice mode to trigger the bet twice but that puts two lay bets on doubling the liability so unsure, any help would be greatly appreciated

Depending on how many markets you have in guardian you may need to increase the refresh rate so they each get refreshed quickly enough

Example: I place a lay bet before the off, and if it dosnt get matched at offtime, i said it must take sp.

But what i dont understand, The bet gets placed for £20 and then it get taken for much less on the SP market?
Anny idee why ?

It will use your initial liability, so higher the odds drift the less the actual stake used will be

No Betfair will only take your initial liability on SP lay bets,
What if it drifts right out and goes off with a SP of 100? you'll have a £1980.00 liability

If you want it matching at SP place the lay as late and close to the price as possible

Yes, but if your expecting the price to rise before the lay is matched at SP why not just place it at the best price now and bag the extra ticks?

It is actually a in play bet.. I lay a selection before the off and trade it in play back with a higher tick.

I have been trying to setup a stop loss, but i dont get it to work....

Example: I pre ray lay 2 selections, in the play i wanna trade these 2 selections back at a higher ticks, IF this is not possible to do i wanna exit with a loss, but i dont get it to work...
Anny help will be much appreciated...
