How does the order of favouritism work please when prices are constantly changing?

eg If 'horse A' is 'favourite 3' but then the price shortens to become the shortest in the market does it stay 'favourite 3' or move to 'favourite 1'? And how does Guardian deal with this in the middle of an automation?

BA Ranks the selections according to latest information arriving from BF - you can choose how frequently that information is updated (refresh interval)- it can be as often as every 20ms.
In the settings tab you can choose which information you want BA to use to rank them by and get to choose from: Back Price, Last Traded Price, Lay Price, SP or even Volume.
Guardian Automation can refer to a selection by rank in the order of favoritism at any given moment (or by name or BFselection number) - or you can use the Fix Order rule to freeze the rank order at a given moment.

It would give the same result in roughly 99.5% of races.
