Greening up across top 3 favs

Instead of greening up a profit across all horses, can ditching (or any other method) be used to green up across top 3 favs only with no profit/loss if any of the other horses win ?

...that's an interesting question and one I'm interested in seeing any answers to - probably needs some sort of automation to do that and/or maybe using 'dutching'/'bookmaking' to achieve.

If only the top 3 favourites have been layed, then the amount of green on the field could be used as the stake in 'dutching' the top 3 favourites - but unless the liability of the top 3 had been the same, then the green on the top three would be different.

I guess that either no-one knows a simple answer to your question amd/or someone is working on a solution.

Would be a very useful servant imo if anyone with the expertise can solve this riddle :)
