I'm not sure if it's wise for Betfair to go to war with the BHA, particularly as no decision has yet been reached...

Let's hope that the BHA don't feel that they have to take a tough line against Betfair, in order not to be seen to be caving in to pressure.

My understanding was that the decision didn't rest with the BHA anyway, it rested with the government....

The BHA could start a fight in solitary confinement but couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery!

Watches as BHA loads gun and aims at foot... :?

Probably posturing to the new government?

If they are, then it will probably backfire.

I don't think HM Government will welcome a move which might prompt Betfair to take its jobs and its taxes to another jurisdiction...
