Technical in-play delay question

If I place a trade in-play where there is a built-in Betfair delay (eg 1 sec on horse racing), what happens if the trade is placed but then the 'cancel all' button is hit within 1 sec and therefore before the initial trade is placed into market? Will the trade still be actioned after the original 1 sec delay or will the 'cancel all' instruction prevent it completely from hitting the market?

Bets can only be cancelled once they are in the market, hitting the cancel button before then it will just ignore bets that have not yet arrived
