Is it just me or is today hard work?

I've traded 7 races and had 6 losses so far :o

Worst run I think I've ever had, just happens to be the worst month I've ever had as well.

Very small fields today so that's not going to make things easier. It's a bit dull for me, but that's all.

I'm only £33 down but I just can't seem to get a feel for the markets, I guess I'll just go steady and hope the later meetings are better.

It's very slow today

There's plenty of footy tonight, but it's taking ages to get matched

This is where discipline becomes very important, it's easy to let boredom drive an opening trade - this invariably results in disappointment

I'm thinking of jacking it in for the day

Found it okay so far - as Peter says small fields but also the market make ups have been poor with just one clear fav or 2 and then the rest no where in the betting.

All depends on your trading style and what kind of form you're in I guess. If you're having a bad day try not to take it too personally we all have em :D

Screwed up the last two races so I'm very annoyed now. Just undid all my good work so far.

Bath 15:30 I had a decent red on 3 horses, it's starting to wind me up now which will cause all sorts of problems, think I'll leave it and see what the evening meetings bring.

hgodden, good point, I'm in poor form at the moment! taken a huge knock in confidence recently.

Good luck to the rest of you.

Its funny how this business messes with your head like that. I've been doing this full time for 3 years now but after a few bad trades or an awkward day I find myself feeling almost like I cant do this anymore, only later to find myself surprised when I start making things work again!

I think what it comes down to is a lot of the time really we're just chasing the good feeling that comes from making money here and fearful of the opposite.

Very poor quality teams don't help at all :(
