Open workbook - but doesn't open the workbook.

Hi,

Attempting to dabble with connecting BetAngel to Excel to collect some data.

I seem to be falling at the first hurdle.

Whether in Guardian or through the main BetAngel interface, if I use the excel tab and locate one of the template files, I then click on "Open Workbook", it pauses for a moment and then the "open workbook" button is greyed out, suggesting that it has indeed already opened it. I am also able to connect with it. Problem is....nothing is opening. If I go into system manager I can see that excel has opened as a background process, but the spreadshee itself is not open/visible.

Aside from rebooting everything to no avail Im not really sure what else to try so any advice would be appreciated.


This is using Microsoft Office 2016 if that makes any difference.

If you have any additional tools added to your excel, like kutools, this can stop the sheet from showing. If so, uninstall the excel extras then you should be fine

Yes! Had Kutools installed, removed it and works like a charm - I'd have never thought of that. Many thanks!
