In the 14:45 Chepstow a horse was withdrawn with a couple of mins to the off. I had been scalping the race and had put a few trades through.
At the time of the market suspension I didnt have an open position although I was sitting on a small loss.
They announced on ATR that there was a 5% rule 4 deduction as per normal, my question is why did my potential redded up position significantly increase? Surely the rule 4 applies to both back and lay trades?
I was left with a situation where there was no real point in redding up as this would have been only marginally better than letting the race run and hope the fav was beaten (which luckily for me it was)
I appologise if this is a stupid question but I'm just trying to understand what happened for future reference.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Horse Withdrawn Question
Walshy...
Had something odd happen to me too.
40 seconds after the scheduled off, I had a bet of £450 matched on the fav, Jasmeno, straight away the green up/red up on the ladder showed I was down -£44.55, the price was still at 4.8....?
On the one click screen is showed that I would make +£171 if Jasmeno won, or all the others were Redded up at -£44.55, no number of green up button clicks would green up these differing figures... thank goodness I was not Laying..!
Have checked the video... very odd...!
Won't be playing with races after the suspension until I can also work out what happened...

I had a similar thing too - had a small loss on one horse and a small profit on the others. I clicked the equalise the profit on the one click screen but it wouldn't do it. Eventually had to leave it as well and hope the horse that I had the small loss on lost, which it did.
