Hi guys

Apologies if this has been asked a million times but how many seconds ahead roughly would you be if you were an oncourse player v the fastest feed at home? Also what is the in play liquidity like on betfair on the better quality Saturday races? I’ve stupidly self excluded so can only go by what I see on Lads exchange which is tiny.

Thanks

It's quite ironic that you've self-excluded and you're now asking us for betting advice! The last time I checked Betfair live video was 4-6 seconds behind and that's the fastest publicly available feed I know or anyone here's mentioned.

betfair is a lot less than 4-6 seconds latency for english horse racing now, these new feeds are quite good

0.7+ for rtv tracks, at least 1.5 for sky tracks

Is that Betfair live video?

When you say at least 1.5 for Sky tracks, is that 1.5 seconds or less, or 1.5 seconds or more?

yes betfair live video. i would say, 1.5 is the lowest delay for sky tracks, it can be more, depends on track. i didn't measured it myself, some guys measured ontrack. from experience i would say it is about right.
