With a bit of luck the bright spark with too much money and time on his hands at the moment might concentrate on his football and leave the racing markets alone. I've not been trading that long but I've never seen so many markets with huge amounts dumped at the same time. Making things tough for me. How about anyone else?

Hi, have you been trading live or pre-live?

I saw a very strange move on the Maritimo-Sporting Fingal match, when someone backed €10.000 on Sporting Fingal @1.8 early on the second half, when the game was 0-1 and Maritimo were playing really well and making many shots. Just for the record, Maritimo was a very short priced favourite. Ten minutes after he was fully matched the price was back to 1.9 - 2.0...

Maritimo scored two in a row, and then came the strangiest thing: the game was 2-1 and Sporting Fingal scored the equalizer on a very strange and unlikely goal and the market was suspended, at around minute 87'. For just one moment after the market reopened, someone was laying the draw @26 and trying to back Maritimo at really short odds, just as if Maritimo had scored the third goal and the match was 3-1 and not 2-2.

So, that someone was putting vast amounts of money in the market without watching the game I think, and his bank account took a blood bath on that match which ended 3-2 btw ;)
