Got myself a new laptop this week. Gone for a gaming laptop and turned off the gaming type stuff GPU etc. Left with great performance, large 17.3" screen and massive battery. Well pleased and would recommend it. Lenovo Legion 5i. Got it online from Box UK for £850.

On a sad note, ordered a beer machine from Germany. Lasted 2 pints before it broke so back it goes. Ups and downs I suppose.

Can you tell me more about the beer machine? Are we talking about a machine that ferments beer?

No, dispenses beer. If you google Klarstein Skal or Clatronic BZ 3740 you will see details. The lead times are horrendous, because everyone wants them with the pubs being shut. Plus, after Brexit, most German companies won't ship here directly. Wouldn't have voted to leave if I'd know :D

They take most 5l mini-kegs so you have loads of choice. My local brewery knock them out directly for £16. Go straight into the machine, then you insert the tap, screw in the CO2 cartridge and off you go. Chilled draught beer in your kitchen.

I know what you mean. I went to a dinner party with one of those dispensers - you felt it would be quicker going down the off-licence than waiting for a pint to be poured.

I know you're not being totally serious but that's what I love hearing. :D

Apparently a lot of older men are regretting voting leave because they're struggling to get their viagra.

Are you saying I'm an older man struggling to get Viagra :o ?

The beer machine worked great. Pint of draught beer in seconds. There was a tear in my eye when I was packing it back up.

The beer machine is now back in the Fatherland. Gutted and waiting for my refund.

The laptop continues to impress though. That huge screen is so good, I have cancelled my Specsavers appointment. And the Harman speakers. Peter doesn't sound manic anymore when he announces 'This event will start in 30 seconds'. Used to sound like Davros from Dr Who on the old one.
