I have a serious problem trying to dutch the correct scores on betfair.
If you look at the picture below you will see the trades i put on for each score and the estimated profit. But when I confirmed the bets, the payout amounts on the left have been absolutely slashed beyond recognition.
I had to trade out for a loss and try it again, but the same occurred.
Does anyone know what is going wrong?... I have watched many youtube videos on this and this is not happening in the videos.
Thanks in advance.

in bet angel, are you using the dutching function or are you placing the bets manually in the 1 click screen?? might be an idea to paste the log file into the OP also, then we can see what the bets looked like as they were entered.
can't think of anything, other than potentially double keying if you are inputing them manually

Ni, on this occasion I am not using the bet angel interface.
I am doing this directly on the betfair exchange.
If you look at the image below, if i add a $3 trade to the 0-0 correct score look how it affects the existing payouts on the left... You can see if i confirmed it will hack all those other payouts down even further.

Don't ever post a screenshot like that when you've been looking at porn, or at least leave the tabs out.diablodavo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 3:32 pmI have a serious problem trying to dutch the correct scores on betfair.

i just realised that this is the PLACE market and not the WIN market. There are big differences in how these markets operate due to the book% etc. I don't have a definitive answer, but this is definitely why you are seeing behaviours that you don't expect.

It clearly states WIN ONLY MARKET just above the bet laying section.
This is not Dutching - you're simply betting lots of individual scorelines for £3 Everytime you add another bet to a scoreline you are reducing the payout on every other scoreline. In your second image you'll see that if you confirm that bet it will add a potential profit to the 0-0 scoreline of an additional £46.50 for that bet (added to the existing £24.24 making a total of £70.74) but every other scoreline will produce £3 less.diablodavo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 3:51 pmNi, on this occasion I am not using the bet angel interface.

This is confusing as hell... I have placed a bet on individual scorelines using a $3 stake for each one.
That is dutching as far as I have learned, backing multiple outcomes with individual stakes.
So what am i doing wrong?
I followed the other videos to the letter and this is what i get.
If I am adding an ADDITIONAL bet with an additional stake, then the ONLY selection that should be affected is the selection I am backing, there is no reason for it to hack all my existing bets.

so, with dutching, you need to calculate the stake based on the different odds. so for a total stake of £10 for example, you'd place £8 on a selection that was on 3.00 odds but only need to place £2 on a selection that was on 9.00 odds. this would give an equal payout on each selection of £16.diablodavo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 4:25 pmThis is confusing as hell... there are dutching calculators online. tbh, you'd be better off using the bet angel dutching function as this does this calculation for you.
of course - just looked at it more carefullydiablodavo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 4:06 pmIt clearly states WIN ONLY MARKET just above the bet laying section.

Just stop to think it through - if you place a £3 back bet on 0-0
you will win money on that bet if the result is 0-0 - you will lose £3 if it is any other scoreline. If you have other bets in the market it isn't "hacking" your other bets its simply reflecting the change to your existing position.

How does an incorrect score get placed?
