Hi All,
I've been practising trading the tennis on Bet Angel Basic and am doing nicely. Last night, however, I was trading the Men's Pilot Pen final and had a green-screen with £4.80 on 1 player and £0.00 on the other. I pressed the green square next to the player with £4.80 to spread the profit and was shocked to find I ended up with just 40p on each player. The greening up function has worked fine the other times I used it. This was late in the game, the £4.80 player was gonna lose so I greened in order to transfer some of the profit to the player who was going to win. Does anyone know why £4.80 turned into just 40p? From previous experience I would have expected to end up with about £2 on each player.

Greening works by lay the current price with the odds available. So £10 greened up at 2's would equal £5 (10/2). It sounds like the odds you took when you greened up where quite high and therefore delivered a much smaller net total.

You would have got £2 if the player was 2.40 in odds

You got 40p, which means his odds were 12

You admitted yourself he was on the brink of losing, so that sounds about right
