My back bet shows up as a lay bet

We were all new to Bet Angel once. Ask any question you like here and fellow forum members promise not to laugh. Betfair trading made simple.

Hello,

I placed a back bet on a horse race. But my bet immediately showed up in the pink column as a lay bet. Why does this happen?
