Historic Relative Odds Condition Favouritism

Hi all, a question on Automation rules for the gurus.

When running the Historic Relative Odds Condition rule to compare the back odds of a "Current" selection to the back odds of "Nominated in position 1 sorted in order of favouritism" selection 5 seconds ago which selection does BA use?

Does it use the selection that was "Nominated in position 1 sorted in order of favouritism" from 5 seconds ago?

Or does it use the current "Nominated in position 1 sorted in order of favouritism"?

I was going to do some testing to find out, but instead am hoping the question makes sense and that someone knows the answer off the top of their head!
