I have some automation that logs the high and low traded prices of selections in a market (since the market opened)
looking at the log it has recorded the high price as 10.42, which obviously isn't a valid tick price. Is it normal for a value like this to be logged?

My best guess is that the 10.42 is SP

If they're not in running odds it's most likely where a deduction has been applied for a non runner

I'll keep an eye on it and see if any other odd prices crop up.
I don't know how betangel handles the high/ low traded prices (apart from the minimum traded volume for the price to be counted) so not sure if a deduction would affect it.
