Early Horse Race Positon

Hi

Is there any way to see early horse race positon but via a chart or something.

When i watch the betfair feed its often very small, cramped, sometimes you catch a menton of the name but when theyre all bunched up I cant alwayss work out where a horse is, or which one is leading very easily and im wondering if there is a way i could see this a bit quicker?

Do you mean see the TPD positions on an advanced chart?

No i mean when the race is going instead of trying to see the horse number on a tiny screen or some dodgy silks, is there anyway that clearly shows what position the horses are in?

Ctrl & + is your friend.

IMO, the most effective way, in-play, is to visualise the way the race is going and be able to react to the race unfolding by using the Bet Angel IP trader software. The most recent innovation is the TPD and the drones, but I still believe, the IP trader is best, especially when used at 20ms.

Sky Diamond was making all, the software gives an accurate representation of it's odds in play and moves around accordingly.

Nowadays, it's fairly easy to visualise how a race is likely to be run, when it's confirmed, then a bettor can act accordingly. L2B or B2L are easy to set up using the Bet Angel global settings. (Peter has done some on you-tube to show this).

In my view, using the betfair pictures to trade in play, give you a disadvantage for the reasons you already mentioned. I would say, it's more useful without commentary (on mute) and watching the movement of the jockey, then cross reference with the IP trader movements.

The IP delay, when orders hit the market and getting matched, is a tougher one to beat, but I firmly believe the IP trader gives you more of a chance in the long term.

Is this an additional purcahse? Im just after something basic not fussed about predicted odds movements.

It's in the pro version of BA. And it doesn't show the horse position it shows the relative odds. If the hotshot is cruising at the back it will probably still show it as the fav even though it's not leading.
